Professional Experience

I am responsible for optimizing and scaling fan engagement around OneUnited Bank and the BankBlack® Movement.

I oversee

  • All digital communication and marketing strategies for the bank
    • Including social and email editorial calendars, digital ad budgeting and execution, and in-branch printed promotional materials
  • Intern recruitment, training, and project management, ensuring all deliverables are received in a timely manner, and error proof
  • All analytics reviews, ensuring that we remain a data-driven department
  • Create, elevate and deliver campaigns that amplify the brands message

In my role as the social media marketing manager, I oversaw the development and execution of both social media communications and digital advertising for the brand.

My day to day responsibilities incuded:

  • Creating and executing social media content calendars
  • Managing consumer engagement and conversations across multiple social channels and public blog comments
  • Evaluating and analyzing social and digital marketing performance
  • Reporting on established KPIs and adjusting the brand strategy based on said analysis.
  • Mentored all social media account managers for the agency
  • Created and executed social strategy for multiple clients

  • Created marketing content (copy, graphics, and video) optimized for client social channels

Co-host of a weekly audio podcast, now over 500 episodes, on the subject of video games, tech gadgets and pop culture, attracting thousands of listeners to each episode. Act as on-air talent, driving the discussion on the show. Designer and administrator for a network of websites and related podcasts as well as maintaining the ESH brand through social media marketing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

Once a month I would volunteer for 2-3 hours preparing and serving meals for impoverished and/or homeless men and women at Pine Street Inn.

Once a quarter I would volunteer my time and participate in RAW Artworks career night program. At risk teens would interview me to learn more about my career path, tools, and training.
